Let's Get This Party Started: Our Terms and Conditions
When paying the £20 deposit fee you confirm that you have fully read and understand the following Terms and Conditions on bookings, cancellations and payments:
If there is anything that you are unsure of or need clarifying please feel free to give us a call. By booking a party with Marfix Entertainment you agree to the following conditions and once your booking is confirmed you must abide by the following:
1. Booking and Reservations
All bookings and reservations for Marfix Entertainment services are subject to availability and should be made in advance. We do require a £20 non-refundable deposit fee to secure your party. Please note we are not able to reserve dates and times without a deposit.
2. Payment and Pricing

The remaining balance must be paid via bank transfer to Marfix Solutions Limited before the party (within 24 hours). Gratuity is not included in the total of your package price, so if you want to show your entertainer that you loved their performance, gratuity is a great way of doing so. Please note the package you have booked and the remaining balance you are due to pay cannot be changed on the day of the party. If you need to change your party package, please get in touch at least a week in advance and we would be happy to amend your remaining balance, package and the expected number of guests attending on your confirmation message (or email).

Once you have booked with us, and you decide to cancel, we will retain your deposit and gladly work with you to find an alternate party date for your consideration, based on availability. Please note that if for any reason our performer turns up to the party you booked and no one is there (for example last-minute cancellation, incorrect address, change of address without notifying us, or change of date without notifying us) your deposit will be lost and will not be transferred to a future date. Another deposit will be required to solidify a future booking.
3. Services

The party activities and packages are timed perfectly, and our characters are all trained on how to time their parties and fit in all activities. Our character will do everything to include all advertised package activities, but if some activities run long due to circumstances outside our control, we may need to cut some activities from the package, for the party to run smoothly.Our performers will be unable to attend an event or party where other character performers from other companies are in attendance. We do ask if you are using more than one company we are booked at a different time.

We do our best to be on time. Please note, that our performers use sat navs and google maps to find party locations. Please be sure to provide suitable directions for your party address. Please be sure to provide suitable directions if your party address is hard to find or does not come up properly on a sat nav or Google Maps. In the rare event our entertainers are held up due to the traffic etc; we will call you so please ensure you have your phone to hand close to our arrival time. It is also the responsibility of the client to inform us of any road closures or alternate routes as soon as possible to enable us to arrive promptly.

We care about the safety of your children and guests- there must be always a responsible parent or adult present to monitor and oversee all children. Our priority is entertaining your guests- our characters will not be able to discipline children who are misbehaving and will not be able to perform medical emergencies. Our performers and our company are not responsible for any injury or damages that may occur at your party.

Services are subject to change based on venue conditions, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, but every effort will be made to fulfil the agreed-upon services.
We suggest inviting the children to arrive at least 15 minutes before our character’s booked arrival time. That way if children are a few minutes late they won’t miss our character’s grand entrance. We have booked your party in our performer’s schedule, and therefore cannot be delayed as they have a schedule to keep. If some of your guests are late, we recommend that they join in the party upon arrival. -
Marfix does not accept any form of bullying or violence. It is the performer's right to take themselves out of any situation that they do not feel comfortable in or feel unsafe. We take safeguarding very seriously and for this reason, if a performer feels anything is unsafe to continue they can decide to stop and change activity.

We do hold a valid Public Liability Insurance, however, you as the client agree that Marfix Entertainment is not liable for any injury to yourself or guests if they misuse the equipment. This is a reason that children must be supervised by adults and must not take any props or equipment that isn't given to them. We want to keep everyone safe.

Marfix's face painters only use high-quality water-based paints, safe glitter and body glue. It is the client's responsibility to confirm any allergies and let the face painter know before the party. Marfix does not take any responsibility for any allergic reactions.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients may cancel their reservation, but the initial deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled [service/appointment/event] are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled [service/appointment/event] will incur the full fee.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made in advance.
5. Photographs and Video
Marfix Entertainment reserves the right to use photographs and video taken during events for promotional and marketing purposes. Clients who do not wish to have their event photographed or recorded must notify Marfix Entertainment in advance.
6. Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for providing a suitable, safe, and clean location for the event. Marfix Entertainment must be informed of any specific venue requirements, such as access to water or electrical outlets, in advance.
7. Equipment and Setup
Marfix Entertainment will provide all necessary equipment for the agreed-upon services. Clients must ensure that there is adequate space and suitable conditions for the setup and performance.
8. Force Majeure

Marfix Entertainment is not liable for events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances such as illnesses, or car accidents. In such cases, the client may reschedule the event if available, or the deposit will be refunded. The client agrees that Marfix Entertainment shall not be liable or be deemed to be in breach of the contract if there is a delay in performing, a failure to perform, illness or injury of the entertainer, or if the delay or failure is due to any cause beyond our control, such as weather issues. Marfix Entertainment does not offer refund compensation but can offer a change of date if requested.

By booking with Marfix Entertainment, the client agrees that if they have an issue with the performer or party, they MUST call us (emails will not be accepted) within the first 20-25 minutes of the start time to express their dissatisfaction and request the entertainer to leave. Failure to call within this timeframe obligates the client to pay the remaining balance for the services provided, and the deposit fee remains non-refundable. This policy also serves to protect our performers and the company from slander.

Our role is to supply entertainers to perform and entertain the children. It is not our position to take over the role of parents and discipline the children. If children engage in unsafe or disruptive behaviour, it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to address the situation, as our entertainers do not have the authority to do so. Our entertainers are specifically there to 'entertain' or 'face paint' and will not assume any roles beyond their booking, such as dealing with food, decorating the hall, or other duties. No refunds will be granted for any issues related to the above.

If an entertainer falls ill or encounters an emergency preventing their attendance, we will inform you and make every effort to find a replacement. If the notice is short (7 days or less), please know that the replacement entertainer's plan may differ from your previous choice. By accepting the replacement entertainer, you agree to this condition and are not entitled to withhold payment or request refunds on this basis.
Giant Bubbles: Our entertainers will refuse to do the Giant Bubbles Activity during adverse weather conditions, including winds, rain, or lightning. Pay attention to weather forecasts and adapt your plans accordingly for outdoor bubble activities. Clients must ensure that when booking the Giant Bubbles Activity they take full responsibility for cleaning up the spilled bubble solution promptly to prevent slip hazards and to respect the environment. Participation in giant bubble activities involves inherent risks, and by using our equipment, you acknowledge and accept these risks (slip hazards). Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. By following these guidelines, we aim to provide a fun and safe experience with giant bubbles. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. Enjoy your giant bubble adventure responsibly!
Face-painting: Our face-painting services are available to children aged 3 and older. Younger children may not have the patience or willingness to sit for face painting, and our services are best suited for older children. Inform our face painter of any known skin allergies or sensitivities, or if you have previously experienced adverse reactions to face-painting products. Our face painter adheres to strict hygiene practices, including the use of clean brushes, sponges, and sanitised professional face-painting products. If any discomfort or skin irritation occurs, remove the face paint immediately. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the face-painting session to ensure their comfort and safety. If you have any active skin conditions, open wounds, or skin infections, please inform our face painter. We reserve the right to refuse service in these cases to protect your health. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons of safety, health, or any other reasonable grounds. Marfix is committed to providing professional, creative, safe face painting services. We strive to make your experience enjoyable and memorable. A table with two chairs is required for the face-painting session. Please ensure that these are provided to create a comfortable setup for the children.
9. Terms and Conditions Change
Marfix Entertainment reserves the right to update these terms and conditions as needed.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be addressed through negotiation and, if necessary, by legal means by local laws.

We welcome feedback and are committed to thoroughly investigating any claims when proof is provided. We are dedicated to ensuring the protection of both our clients and our entertainers and take each claim seriously. However, we reserve the right to take legal action against any false reviews or baseless claims against us or our performers to protect Marfix Entertainment and our entertainers from slander.
